Our Wedding

We met the modern way — on a dating app called Hinge. What started as a simple match quickly turned into something neither of us expected. On June 21st, 2021, we had our first date at Bond Brothers in Cary, NC, and from the very beginning, there was an effortless connection between us.Just after that first date, life temporarily took us in different directions when one of us left for New York for two months. Even with the distance, we never stopped talking. Day after day, our conversations continued, and what began as excitement after one great date slowly grew into something deeper. The miles between us only made us more certain that what we had was special.From that first date in Cary to countless conversations across state lines, our story has always been built on connection, consistency, and choosing each other every single day.

The bride's brother, Gunjan Vahia, warmly invites you to join us for a casual Meet &amp; Greet at Bond Brothers. Come enjoy an evening of food, drinks, and mehndi (henna) as we kick off the wedding weekend with family and friends.

While this gathering is completely optional, we'd love the opportunity to spend time with you before the big day. If you're unable to join us, we completely understand and look forward to celebrating together on November 14, 2026, at the The Honeysuckle Tea House.

Meet & Greet

What time should I arrive?We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony so you have plenty of time to park, settle in, and find your seat.

What should I wear?You may wear an Indian dress or Western dress for both the Welcome Event on Friday and the Ceremony and Reception on Saturday. Either is appropriate!You are welcome to wear semi-formal clothing as you would to a typical American wedding.For our non-Indian guests, if you are interested in wearing Indian attire: the typical wedding attire for men is a Sherwani or a Kurta-Pajama. For women, typical Indian clothing would be a lengha, sari or salwar kameez. You can reach out to Saloni or Gabe to get recommendations on where to buy Indian clothes if you need help.The ceremony will be in a grassy/gravel area, so please wear appropriate footwear.

Is the ceremony outdoors?Yes! Our ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting), with the reception to follow on-site.

Will transportation be provided?Yes! Complimentary shuttle service will be available between our hotel block at the Hampton Inn &amp; Suites Raleigh Cary Lenovo Center and the wedding venue. We highly encourage guests staying at the hotel to use the shuttle instead of driving.

Can I drive to the venue?Absolutely! If you prefer to drive, complimentary parking is available at the venue for all guests. Feel free to arrive at your convenience and park on-site.

What will be served?We all love food! The food will be served buffet style, so our guests will have the option to choose what they’d like to eat. More details later on the final menu!

Can I bring a guest?Please refer to your invitation or RSVP. Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

Are children invited?While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

When should I RSVP by?Please let us know if you'll be joining us by October 1, 2026. Receiving your RSVP by this date will help us finalize our plans and ensure we have an accurate guest count.
